ROCK SPRINGS – The Rock Springs Tigers had a good opportunity to see where they stacked up against several of the east squads over the weekend with stops in Laramie and Cheyenne. Overall, they brought home several solid finishes.
Against Laramie, the Tigers won five of the events led by Darwin Anderson. He led the field in both the 50 free and 100 free. Ron DeFauw touched first in the 500 free while Parker Newberg brought home the top spot in the 100 breaststroke.
Anderson kept it going against Cheyenne with wins in the 200 free and 500 free. DeFauw led the field in both the 200 IM and the 100 back while Kade Thomas finished first in the 100-yard breaststroke. James Spicer was first in the 100 fly and after taking third against Laramie, Johnathan Evens took first in one-meter driving in Cheyenne.
