GREEN RIVER — Timothy James Kozlowski, 51, of Green River, Wyoming passed away on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County in Rock Springs, Wyoming. A resident of Green River, Wyoming for the past three and a half and former resident of Kalamazoo, Michigan, Mr. Kozlowski passed away suddenly.
He was born on February 15, 1964 in Laporte, Indiana, the son of James Norman Kozlowski and Carol Linda Stesiak.
Mr. Kozlowski attended schools in Hoffman Estates, Illinois and graduated from Fremd High School with the Class of 1982. He also attended college and earned a Bachelor’s Degree.
He married Marsha Pierce in Kalamazoo, Michigan on February 11, 1989.
Mr. Kozlowski served in the United States Navy from 1982 until 1988.
He worked as a power plant supervisor for FMC Corporation for three and a half years.
Mr. Kozlowski was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Green River, Wyoming.
His interests included fishing, watching football and hockey and spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors include his wife Marsha Pierce Kozlowski of Green River, Wyoming; parents James Kozlowski of Porter, Indiana and Carol Kozlowski of Oglesby, Illinois; one son Benjamin Kozlowski of Virginia Beach, Virginia and one sister Ann Fraze of Westville, Indiana.
He was preceded in death by his Paternal Grandparents, Clem and Helen Kozlowski and Maternal Grandparents Benjamin and Bernice Lisek.
Cremation has taken place and services will be held at a later date.
