CHEYENNE — Springtime will be on hold a little bit longer as the Wyoming Department of Transportation forecasts more treacherous travel conditions through Saturday.
Strong, gusty wind and blowing and drifting snow will create black ice conditions over significant portions of Interstates 80 and 25 from tomorrow through most of the weekend.
Expect wind gusts up to 60 miles per hour in stretches that will create poor visibility and extreme blowover risk for light high-profile vehicles. These impacts are expected to be in place until 6 p.m. on Saturday, so be prepared if you’re planning to travel.
