UFO Discussion group will conduct Sky Watch Friday night

SWEETWATER COUNTY — The UFO and Extraterrestrial Life Discussion Group is planning a sky watch for Friday June 6.

Those interested will be meeting at the White Mountain Library Parking lot at 8:30. Then, they will head up to White Mountain near Pilot Butte for the sky watch.

According to a social media post by Richard Beckwith, the groups coordinator, the group will be attempting Dr. Steven Greer’s CSETI protocol for vectoring in alien spacecraft. “that means you’ll have to show up with an open mind, prepared to meditate. Bring a comfortable camp chair, warm clothes and a blanket if needed, food and drink as needed, a small flashlight, and a set of binoculars. I will have a sky chart and satellite data. You will have to have a vehicle capable of traversing the unpaved roads on White Mountain. I have room for two more people in my Xterra. We will be out until at least midnight, or later depending on sky conditions and the mood of the group. I will see all who are interested tomorrow night! Please, no alcohol or drugs.”
