EVANSTON — Uinta County Sheriff’s Deputies located a stolen vehicle east of Evanston and attempted to stop it on Saturday, November 14. The vehicle was originally stolen in downtown Rock Springs.
The female driver of the vehicle refused to pull over reaching speeds of over 90 mph continuing west towards Evanston. Deputies were able to spike the tires at milepost 10. The chase ended at about milepost 7 when the vehicle attempted to turn around and sideswiped a light pole.
The driver and male passenger were booked into the Uinta County Detention Center on several felony charges.
