EVANSTON – Jalan Crossland has made a name for himself as a Wyoming musician, playing shows all over the state and throughout the country during his career.
He and his band members will perform at the “Music in the Air at Depot Square” event in Evanston, WY on July 26 around 6:30 p.m.
Crossland, who grew up in Ten Sleep, describes himself as “Americana singer/songwriter.”
“It’s a mix of acoustic and electric with country, bluegrass and old rock influence,” Crossland said.
He draws creative inspiration from John Hartford, Steve Earle and Tom Waits. Crossland said he and his band members perform statewide and regionally in states surrounding Wyoming, but they don’t perform in southwest Wyoming as often as he’d like.
“It’s always fun performing in the American West.”
