The concerts will be held the second Wednesday of each month, June through September, in Bank Court from 12 noon to 1:30 p.m. The shows are free and guests are invited to bring their lunch and enjoy a summer day in Downtown Rock Springs; most of the downtown restaurants also offer take-out as an option for lunch. The first Brown Bag Concert Series is scheduled for June 8.
The Rock Springs Main Street/URA is currently looking for interested performers. If you know of local bands (1 to 3 members) or musicians who would be interested in being part of the series, please have them contact the Rock Springs Main Street/URA at 307-352-1434. Performers will be paid $150 for their services.

Theater Council Update
At the Tuesday night Rock Springs City Council meeting, Councilman David Tate gave an update on happenings at the Broadway Theater. He thanked the community for making the Live in the Lobby concert series a huge success. Tate said Live in the Lobby was set up as a smaller event to give fans a more intimate setting to enjoy local music.
Only 50 tickets to each event are sold and Tate said every show is sold out. The Live in the Lobby series has another concert scheduled in April and one in May.
Tate informed the council that on April 30 they will host Ballet West’s Beer and Ballet. The event will feature dancers from the Rocky Mountain region and beer from Bitter Creek Brewery.
The councilman also announced they are beginning a new program called Friends of the Broadway. It is a program for people interested in promoting and supporting the theater. He said for more information about this program, residents should call the Rock Springs Main Street/URA Office.
