LAWRENCE, Kan.  – The University of Wyoming men’s and women’s track and field teams concluded their season on Saturday at the NCAA West Preliminary at Rock Chalk Park.

Junior Jordan Charles finished 13th in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 13.95. He missed moving on to Eugene by three hundredths of a second, as only the top 12 finishers advance. Sophomore Garrett Lynch placed 40th in the discus with a throw of 160-8.

“This has been a challenging season, especially during outdoor with the weather, but I’m proud of our kids’ resolve and what they were able to accomplish,” UW head coach Bryan Berryhill said. “That was partially due to great leadership from this year’s seniors, so I’d like to thank them for their contributions to this program. Looking forward, our coaching staff believes we are continuing to take steps in the right direction with our men’s and women’s programs, so I’m excited to see where those will take us next season.”
