GREEN RIVER — At 3:10 AM this morning Green River Fire Department was dispatched to a vehicle fire on Interstate 80 eastbound.
They were supported by Granger Fire Department and Sweetwater County Fire Department.
Upon arrival, there was a single flatbed pickup truck fully involved.

There were no injuries caused and the cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
The previous evening emergency crews who responded to a train derailment also encountered a vehicle fire on Highway 530 South about 8:30 p.m. near mile marker 8.5.
The vehicle was fully engulfed in fire; luckily no injuries were reported.
