WYOMING — State and federal flags in Wyoming flying at half-staff on December 7th will carry a dual meaning.

Flags statewide are currently flying at half-staff honoring the victims of the tragedy in San Bernardino, CA until sunset on the 7th adding to the tradition of honoring National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day on the 7th.

Governor Matthew H. Mead, pursuant to President Barack Obama’s National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day 2015 Proclamation, has ordered both the U.S. flag and the State of Wyoming flag be flown at half-staff statewide from sunrise to sunset on Monday, December 7, 2015 in honor of the American patriots who died as a result of their service at Pearl Harbor. – Office of Governor Matt Mead
