Students of the Week

Mkaylee Parker was nominated as a Student of the Week by Mrs. Joy Kennah and Mrs. Kay Herron. Mrs. Kennah said, “Mkaylee is such a fun and positive student. She absolutely lights up a room when she walks in! Mkaylee is a hard worker and does her best on everything. She always notifies me when she will miss class and asks for work in advance, always bringing it in the next day on time. Whenever I see her in the hall, she always has a big smile and says, ‘Hello Mrs. Kennah!’ everytime. Thank you Mkaylee for being such a positive end to my day!”
Mrs. Herron said, “It is not easy to come into a new high school when you are a junior, but MKaylee has handled her move to GRHS with a positive attitude and a smile. MKaylee works hard in all of her classes. She demonstrates a kind and respectful attitude to everyone. Mkaylee has definitely been a welcome addition to the GRHS student body.”

CJ Crofford was nominated as a Student of the Week by Mrs. Katie Camis. Mrs. Camis said, “CJ has worked very hard this year and has overcome many obstacles. Not only is she a hard working student but she works hard at her VESEP job too. She is always willing to help her classmates when they are struggling. She is a role model to her peers. I am excited for her new adventure outside of GRHS. I am so proud that CJ will be at graduation this semester.”
Wolves of the Week

Hayley Lauze, Vabsi Ibarra, Maggie Tallifero, Morgan Burbank, Kayla Gibson, Emma Nathan, and Patrick Marchal were all nominated as Wolves of the Week by the speech and debate coaches. The coaches said, “This weekend we hosted our Speech and Debate tournament with 20 schools in attendance. These students went above and beyond to work tirelessly at our judges table to help make our tournament run smoothly. Anything I asked of them they did without complaint. Without their efforts, it would not have been possible to have things run as well as they did.”
