Ashlin Griffths was nominated as a Student of the Week by GRHS Art Teacher Mr. Shane Steiss.
Ashlin is a consistently high performer in my class. She puts her heart and soul in everything she makes and does so with grace and elegance. She is a positive force in my class and has a smile on her face every day.
She is always ready with a compliment or assistance to any of her classmates. She is quickly becoming a leader in the art department.”

Paige Reynolds was nominated as a Student of the Week by the GRHS Art Teacher Shane Steiss.
Paige is my most improved potter this year. She has turned the corner from learning to make art to producing high quality work every day. She is excited to work and to help her classmates.
She once struggled to get a passing grade in my class and now she is finding ways to make extra projects and find ways to spend more time in the art room.”

Jose Sanchez was nominated as a Student of the Week by GRHS Art Teacher Mr. Shane Steiss.
Jose is a fish in water when he is at the potters wheel. He has already completed over 10 projects this semester and is pushing himself to make even more.
He is always experimenting and finding creative ways to make his work even stronger and more interesting.”

Krista Boyton was nominated as a Student of the Week by GRHS Language Arts Teacher Mrs. Victoria Hemphill.
I would like to nominate Krista Boynton for Wolf of the Week. Last week she overcame her biggest fear and donated blood for the I Bleed Green challenge to help GRHS help save hundreds of lives.
At the drive, Krista was frightened, shaking, and in tears, but that didn’t stop her. She overcame her fears to contribute to a great cause! Awesome work, Krista!”

Gregory Marchal and Patrick Marchal were nominated as Students of the Week by GRHS Speech & Debate Coach Ms. Carina White.
I would like to nominate Rachel Heisinger for Wolf of the Week. Rachel competes in Lincoln Douglas debate and Congress for the GRHS Speech and Debate team and is consistently in final rounds.
This past weekend in Evanston she was again in final rounds in both her events. She is a great asset to our team.”
