ROCK SPRINGS – The Sweetwater County Democratic Party is proud to announce Rachel Lance as the recipient of the 2013/2014 Sweetwater County Democratic Scholarship.  Pictured above is Betty Auld, Vice Chair, Mike Martin, Treasurer, Ms. Lance, and Mark Chollak, Chair, presenting the $500 award.

Lance will be graduating from Western Wyoming Community College in Spring 2014, with her degree in Nursing.  Lance states that her “choice in profession will help to fulfill her desire to serve her community with kindness and compassion.”  Lance resides with her husband and their two children, and intends to stay in Sweetwater County upon graduation. The Sweetwater County Democratic Party plans to award a scholarship to a deserving WWCC student every year.
