COVID-19 does not impact all families equally.

The Kiwanis Club of Rock Springs designed a project to help our families who are most impacted by compiling a Kiwanis bag of products needed by families daily.

The bags included: toothpaste, toothbrush with holder, kid’s mask, antibiotic cream, bandages, bar soap, dish soap, laundry soap, deodorant, shampoo, and a Glo Stick.

The Kiwanis Club of Rock Springs worked with Sweetwater School District #1 to determine which families could most benefit from the supplies.

The Club project was compiled by club members and delivered to Superintendent Kelley McGovern for delivery to the students.

Kiwanis International’s Kiwanis One Day was October 24, 2020, and this was our community’s contribution to that worldwide effort. Kiwanis One Day is the day clubs around the world work together to improve their communities.
