Wyoming Football Game Against Utah State Canceled

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — For the second week in a row, the Mountain West has canceled the University of Wyoming football game due to COVID-19 Coronavirus.

“Due to an upward trend of COVID-19 cases within the Utah State football program, the Aggies are unable to participate in the scheduled football game on Thursday, Nov. 19, at Wyoming,” the Mountain West said in a press release. “Therefore, the Mountain West is canceling the game and declaring it a no contest. There is no plan to reschedule the game.”

The game against Air Force, which was scheduled for Nov. 14, had been canceled due to COVID-19. Air Force and Utah State were both set to play in Laramie.

Wyoming’s next scheduled game is against UNLV on the road. The game will be played Nov. 27 at 2 pm.
