John Michael Gauthier, 69, of Clanton, Alabama, passed away October 4, 2021, at UAB, Birmingham, Alabama.

He was born February 6, 1952, in Arkansas, son of the late Richard Gauthier and the late Renee Gauthier.

He was an Instrument and Electronics Technician at Williams, Inc.

Surviving are his loving wife, Sylvia Gauthier; son, Micheal P. Gauthier; step-son , William C. Scruggs; daughters, Dana Gauthier, Michelle Jones; sister, Dona Staton.

He was preceded in death by his father, Richard J. Gauthier; mother, Renee A. Gauthier. 

A memorial service will take place Saturday, October 9, 2021, at 10:30 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Tommy Edmondson, officiating.
