GREEN RIVER — The Green River City Council will look to approve a resolution increasing the budget for carryover projects in the wastewater and capital projects funds during their Tuesday night meeting.
The wastewater fund would see the largest expenditure increase of $1.32 million, mainly driven by a $912,000 increase for the wastewater treatment plant. The resolution would also add revenue to the wastewater fund in the amount of $912,000 from the State Lands and Invest loan and $91,000 from a Homeland Security grant.
With the increased revenue, the wastewater fund would still see an increase of expenditures by $319,000.
The resolution would also draw on the sixth penny capital projects reserve fund by $620,000 to offset the increase of expenditures by $911,000. According to council documents, the funds would cover the Killdeer Wetland project, IT equipment repairs and upgrades, Bridger and Wilkes sixth penny projects and more.
The general fund would see the lowest expenditures increase at $130,000. The increase covers fire fighting equipment replacement and emergency response, summer day camp and admin costs.
The Council meeting takes place at 7 p.m. at Green River City Hall. The meeting is open to the public and will be streamed on the city’s YouTube channel. An agenda can be found here.
