EVANSTON — The Rock Springs High School girls golf team finished eighth at the Class 4A state golf championships Friday at Purple Sage Golf Course, closing out the two-day tournament with a team score of 447.

Kelly Walsh won the girls team championship with a score of 390.

Rock Springs was led individually by Jalen Agudu, who tied for 26th with a total score of 149. Addie Doerr followed closely behind, tying for 28th at 150. Regan Veesart finished 32nd with a 154, while Cambri Pedersen placed 38th with a 160. Olivia Goich rounded out the Lady Tigers’ state lineup, finishing 44th with a 165.

On the boys side, Thunder Basin won the team championship. Campbell County’s Jaxon Burr captured the individual boys title, while Laramie’s Addie Plassmeyer won the girls individual championship.

The state championship was held Sept. 18-19 at Purple Sage Golf Course in Evanston, bringing the high school golf season to a close.
