Jay Whittaker – Tonight at Johnny Mac’s

Jay Whittaker who has quickly become the talk of the town in Salt Lake City as one of the bright talents to watch is playing Johnny Mac’s tonight . His stage presence, winning attitude, and crowd-pleasing charm make him perfect for any audience. Whether he’s rockin’ comedy clubs, pubs, or even fashion shows; there’s always laughter nearby.

Honing his sharp wit on the metropolitan streets of Los Angeles and Orange County, California; Jay Whittaker burst onto to the comedy circuit with his own distinctive comedy styling. Since then, Jay took 2nd place in Wiseguys Comedy Club’s 2011 March Madness Competition and placed in the Top 10 at the 2011 Salt Lake Comedy Festival’s Rocky Mountain Laugh-Off. He’s hosted a number of charity events and is also a recurring guest on KBER 101’s radio hour “The Freak Show” with Mick & Allen. He’s also been heard on U92 & X96′s Radio From Hell and a recurring guest on The GeekShow Podcast. Already opening for comedy stars such as Hannibal Buress, Anthony Jeselnik, Mike Epps and the late, great Patrice O’Neal; This young man is a rising star to watch and a sure bet to make you laugh (he will buy you a round of drinks if you don’t!)

Aaron Woodall – October 29 at Johnny Mac’s

Aaron Woodall is a young, up-and-coming comedian from Bowie, Maryland who got lost in Utah a few years ago and still hasn’t found his way home yet. His energetic brand of humor, littered with pop culture references, has entertained sold-out shows on university campuses and half-empty bars in the Beehive State for the last 3 years. He started making a name for himself on the Salt Lake scene last year when he placed 3rd at the Rocky Mountain Laugh Off and then finished as a semi-finalist in the 2013 World Series of Comedy in Las Vegas.
