Associated Student Government at WWCC to hold cleanup near College Drive expressway ramps, April 25, from 3-5 p.m. Western will also host campus cleanup May 10 as part of city-wide spring cleanup effort

ROCK SPRINGS – On Friday, April 25, members of the Associated Student Government at Western Wyoming Community College will hold a cleanup at the I-80 expressway ramps at College Drive from 3-5 p.m. Students, employees and community members are invited to participate in this community cleanup effort.

Participants are asked to meet in the Rocky Hall residence commons at 2:45 p.m. or to go straight to the cleanup site on College Drive. Cleanup will take place on both sides of the expressway near the entrance and exit ramps.

Also, on Saturday, May 10, Western will host a campus cleanup effort in conjunction with Rock Springs’ city-wide cleanup effort. Volunteers are invited to assist WWCC students and employees in cleaning up the campus area in advance of Western’s Commencement program, which is scheduled for Friday, May 16.

The May 10 campus cleanup will begin at 8:30 a.m., and volunteers can meet up at the main entrance to campus. T-shirts, bags and gloves will be available for volunteers.
