ROCK SPRINGS — The team at Brokerage Southwest in Rock Springs recently donated $2,100 in cash and products to the Red Desert Humane Society.
The Furbaby Drive was an effort to help the animal shelter during the on-going challenges presented by the COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic.
“We’ve realized through the whole COVID situation that a lot of non-profits have suffered as they haven’t been able to do any types of fundraisers as in the past,” said BSW owner Kelly Palmer. “So we chose as an office to do the fundraiser for the RS Humane Society.”
Palmer said he office ran ads and have been able to gather over $700 worth of products and over $900 in cash donations. Brokerage Southwest is also donating $500 in cash. The fundraiser amounted to $2,100 and Palmer said her office “would like to thank all the people and businesses that have been so generous.”
