The Burbot Classic Will Go On!

With a few changes the Burbot Classic will go on as planned February 6th – 8th.

This year in addition to ice fishing, the derby will allow open water fishing from boats and from the shore.

Boats must comply with all coastguard waterway rules and regulations, also lifejackets must be worn by all participants fishing from a boat.  For those of you who were looking forward to the first annual auger contest, it isn’t cancelled quite yet. Mother Nature will decide, and its outcome will be determined the weekend of the event.

Prizes for biggest burbot, smallest burbot, most burbot, and much more, including a kids fishing contest!

We have some great prizes this year along with 40 potential cash prizes along and a chance to get a tagged burbot payout of $10,000. So come join us for fishing, and family fun February 6th through 8th at Buckboard Marina.
