City of Green River Looking For Residents Willing to Get Involved

GREEN RIVER – The city of Green River has several board openings and is looking for interested members of the community who would like to fill them.

If you are a resident of the city and would like to be in the decision making process for future development in Green River, the city has two openings on the city Planning and Zoning Commission. They are volunteer appointments and are three-year terms.

The commission meets on the second Wednesday of the month at 6:30 p..m. at the Green River City Hall Council Chambers.

If you have time for a meeting once a month, two other important organizations are seeking volunteers. The Green River Main Street/Urban Renewal Agency and the Joint Powers Water Board are both seeking new board members.
