ROCK SPRINGS – Visit the Wataha Recreational Complex on July 4th for a day full of fun, family, friends and fireworks.
A four on four mud volleyball tournament will take place from 9 am to 5 pm. You can sign up online at www.rswy.net/rec until June 30th.
For those who would rather golf, there is a golf tournament, too! You can sign up at the golf course for the Fire Wacker Golf Tournament, which will be held from 6 to 9 pm. This tournament features a “wacky” format with unconventional challenges on some of the holes like having to hit the ball through croquet style traps. Event is limited to the first 18 teams. There is a fee to enter. Register by June 27th.
Bill Valdez and Company will be providing entertainment that day and will feature the VFW Color Guard, a pie eating contest, prizes and trivia. An assortment of “backyard games” will be available for anyone wanting to play before the fireworks. There will also be vendors on site if you don’t want to bring food and refreshments. To end the evening, fireworks will begin at 10 pm, sharp!
