ROCK SPRINGS – There are many ways to take pride in the community. There are volunteering opportunities, serving in the local government and supporting activities around the city are just a couple. One big way is to keep the community clean. This Saturday, the Rock Springs City Wide Cleanup will again take place.
On May 17, groups of people will be all over the city, picking up garbage. Interested teams and individual people should go the the Rock Springs Chamber of Commerce for information and supplies.
Teams will also be given oranges shirts which participants must wear during the cleanup.
For those participating in the cleanup, a free lunch will be provided at 1 p.m. at the Young-at-Heart Senior Center.
