Families are invited to come enjoy fun and exciting activities during the “Community Discovery Day” hosted by the Sweetwater County Child Developmental Center. The event is Friday, May 8 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at both SCCDC locations in Rock Springs and Green River.
This Family Friday event will showcase the SCCDC and other community programs. Kids will also have a chance to play in the free bounce houses, dig for dinosaurs, challenge a friend to a rubber ducky race, and much more. Each station will feature activities that families can do with their children at home to continue learning in a fun-interactive way.
“The event is going to be information-rich and will give parents a chance to interact with their children through play. Some of the best learning opportunities are disguised as fun and adventuresome which is exactly what we are offering.”
