Copeland Tabbed MW Defensive Player of the Week

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Wyoming sophomore middle blocker Reed Copeland has been named the Mountain West Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday.

It marks the first time Copeland has won Player of the Week honors and the first Cowgirl since Allison Waldvogel won in September of last season.

The Federal Way, Wash., native opened MW play with a season-high 11 blocks against San Jose State last Thursday. Her previous high of 2016 was eight blocks against Idaho during the Idaho Volleyball Classic and against LIU Brooklyn at the Sports Imports D.C. Koehl Classic.
