SWEETWATER COUNTY — This week Sweetwater Citizens Crime Stoppers has been contacted by Rock Springs Police Department, asking for help concerning a vehicle vandalism that occurred in the local Smith’s parking lot in Rock Springs around the first of the month.
On Sat. June 4th about 11:00 a.m. the victim parked her white 2014 Cadillac CTS in a space at the Smith’s store located at Dewar and Foothill Blvd. She went into the store and approx. 10-15 minutes later, as she was loading her groceries, noticed a large scratch to the passenger side of her car, estimated damage approximately $700.
Upon checking the surveillance video, at around that same time there was an older white male, wearing a white colored baseball type hat, black t-shirt, and blue jeans in the area. He drove a red colored possibly late 80’s or early 90’s Ford F-100 pickup truck.
