Donate to Local Food Banks at Green River Farmers Market

GREEN RIVER – Groups continue to help raise donations and awareness to a summer shortage of food at the local food banks.

Recently local food banks asked the public for help during the summer months. While residents often give during the winter holiday months, local food bank officials explained with school out for the summer, the need for food in low-income homes increases.

At the farmer’s Market in Green River on Wednesday, the Green River Main Street/Urban Renewal Agency will be helping the cause.
