Head Start is a preschool program for the whole family. Not only do we provide high quality education, we also support families with their needs, interests and goals, whether that is something urgent like finding a safe place to live or food to eat, or if it’s something like a parent wanting to get their Master’s degree or start their own business. Head Start supports parents as their child’s first and most important teacher. Head Start partners with families to help children and families have the best chance of being successful and is a high-quality early childhood education program.
Head Start is a government-funded program and is free for qualifying families. There are several different ways a family might qualify for Head Start including if a family receives SNAP benefits.
