EVANSTON — The Evanston Fire Department responded to and extinguished a structure fire apparently caused by improperly installed wood stove on Tuesday, December 29.

According to a Facebook post from Uinta County Fire and Ambulance, the Evanston Fire Department responded to Mockingbird Lane, which is located just south of Evanston, late last night for a structure fire.

The fire started in a shed and extended into the rear of the residence. The cause appears to be an improperly installed wood stove insert in the shed, according to the fire department.
