FARSON — Farson-Eden will have a busy week ahead, with the Lady Pronghorns scheduled for two volleyball matches and the Pronghorns set to host Dubois in a Class 1A six-man football game Friday.

The Lady Pronghorns will open the week at home Tuesday against Big Piney, with the varsity match scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Farson-Eden will then travel to Little Snake River on Friday, with the varsity match set for 2 p.m.

Farson-Eden will look to rebound after falling to Class 2A Saratoga in straight sets Saturday. Saratoga won 25-17, 25-11 and 27-25, with the Lady Pronghorns pushing the final set beyond 25 points before Saratoga secured the match.

The Lady Pronghorns enter this week with a 9-8 overall record and a 3-1 mark in the Class 1A Southwest Conference after sweeping Arapaho Charter and St. Stephens during homecoming week. The two matches this week will give Farson-Eden another opportunity to build momentum as conference play continues.

The Pronghorns will also look to bounce back Friday when they host Dubois at 2 p.m. Farson-Eden is coming off a 45-30 loss to No. 2 Casper Christian in a South Conference matchup.

Farson-Eden entered that game with a 2-3 overall record and a 1-2 conference mark. The Pronghorns scored 30 points against Casper Christian but were unable to overcome the highly ranked opponent.

Friday’s matchup against Dubois gives Farson-Eden a chance to return to the win column as the team continues its six-man football season.
