Hi! I am Kayla McDonald. I am the Business Development Manager for the Rock Springs Chamber of Commerce. I have been in my position for 2 years. I am a very busy mother of one amazing little 7 year old girl named Trinity. I have my Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations from Franklin University. I plan to start my studies to obtain my Master’s Degree in Public Administration in 2016. Anyone that knows me, knows that I am a huge Wyoming Cowboys fan..(I bleed Brown & Gold). *GO POKES*

HOW LONG HAVE YOU LIVED IN SWEETWATER COUNTY?

I have lived in Sweetwater County my entire life. I am happy to call Green River my home.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE THING TO DO OR SOMETHING UNIQUE ABOUT YOU?

This is truly a tough question for me to answer, because I enjoy doing so much. However, I do enjoy spending time in the outdoors. I love spending time with my family and friends. I also enjoy being a part of my community by volunteering my time, being on the Flaming Gorge Days Committee, and helping my friends and family at the Sweetwater Speedway during the summer months.

WHAT DO YOU THINK IS THE BEST PART OF LIVING IN SWEETWATER COUNTY?

I think the community support is by far the best part about living in Sweetwater County. Working with the public and the business community, you truly get to experience so many wonderful opportunities and see things from a totally different perspective.

WHAT IS ONE TIP OR LIFE LESSON YOU HAVE LEARNED THAT YOU ARE WILLING TO SHARE?

Every dream is worth chasing, never be discouraged.
