FARSON-EDEN– The Farson-Eden High School boys and girls basketball teams wrapped up regular season play on Friday, February 16, and will head into 1A West Regional Tournament play this Thursday.
FEHS Boys Team
The FEHS boys basketball team will enter post-season play at the 1A West Regional Tournament in Lander as the Southwest Conference champs. The No. 1 ranked team finished the regular season with a 7-1 conference record and a 14-8 overall record.
The Pronghorns will take on Northwest No. 5 ranked Dubois on Thursday, February 22, at 2 pm. Dubois beat NW No. 4 Ten Sleep on Monday, eliminating Ten Sleep.
The winner between FEHS and Dubois will take on the winner between Encampment (No. 3 SW) and St. Stephens (No. 2 NW). The winner of this game will qualify for the 1A state tournament.
FEHS Girls Team
The Lady Pronghorns will go into the 1A West Regional Tournament in Lander as the Southwest’s No. 4 ranked team, with a 2-6 conference record and a 9-13 overall record.
They will take on the Northwest’s No. 1 ranked St. Stephens on Thursday, February 22, at 7 pm. St. Stephens and Burlington both had 7-1 conference records, so the number one and two seeds were decided by a coin flip.
The winner between FEHS and St. Stephens will take on the winner between Dubois (No. 3 NW) and Encampment (No. 2 SW) on Friday, February 23, at 5:50 pm.
