UINTA COUNTY — On November 3, the Uinta County Commissioners rescinded the fire restrictions that have been in place since August.
According to a Facebook post from Uinta County Fire and Ambulance, “While things remain dry, as evidenced by the 28-acre fire last week, we feel that incoming moisture, temperatures and relative humidities are trending in a favorable direction. Everyone is asked to use common sense and act responsibly.”
City and town ordinances remain in place and are not affected by the lifting of restrictions in unincorporated Uinta County. Those who have any questions can contact Uinta County Fire Warden Eric Quinney, 307-789-8556
