CHEYENNE— Governor Mark Gordon announced during a press conference on Thursday that he is allowing his directive for out-of-state residents traveling into Wyoming to self-quarantine for 14 days to expire on Friday, May 8.

The directive was originally issued on April 3. Allowing this directive to expire will open the state up to travelers for both business and non-business related trips.

Governor Gordon noted that Wyoming residents who may be traveling to areas that have a more widespread and prominent presence of COVID-19 are risking exposure to the virus.

He warned Wyomingites to stay careful, especially if they are often around vulnerable populations.

“Those who are regularly in contact with vulnerable populations should be especially vigilant,” Governor Gordon said.
