Green River Horse Palace Obtains Liquor License

GREEN RIVER – The Green River City Council unanimously approved a liquor license request made by Wyoming Horse Racing LLC, Green River Horse Palace during the Green River City Council meeting Tuesday night.

The Council met via Zoom for the first time since summer due to the COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic.

Eugene Joyce, President of Wyoming Horse Racing LLC, said when the Town Bar and Grill in Downtown Green River closed amid the COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic, they had to move locations to stay open in Green River. The new satellite location for Green River Horse Palace is at 110 Uinta Drive.

Joyce applied for the retail liquor license for the term of December 2, 2020, through March 31, 2021, for the Green River Horse Palace.

Green River City Administrator Reed Clevenger said there are still four of these retail liquor licenses available in Green River, and unlimited licenses for restaurants and clubs.
