Green River Police Department to Conduct Drug Take-Back Day

The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Smith's Food and Drug Store in Green River.

GREEN RIVER — The National Prescription Drug Take Back Day will take place this year on Saturday, April 30 in Green River.

The Green River Police Department will be at Smith’s in Green River, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. collecting expired or unwanted prescription medications.

The department is asking citizens to avoid bringing over-the-counter medications or sharps. Sharps can be taken to Castle Rock Medical Center for disposal.
