LARAMIE – The Green River Wolves swimmers traveled East over the weekend and despite coming up short in two duals to Cheyenne East and Laramie, won several events 0ver the two days.

Michael Richmond came in first in four events including the 200 IM twice. He also placed first in the 100 fly in Laramie and the 100 back in Cheyenne. Richmond currently has the fastest time in the 100 fly in the state.

Against Laramie, Brastin Moore placed first in the 100 back. Moore led the Wolves who took the top four spots with Ty Sturlaugson finished second, Jacob Mondrago third and Brody Belcher coming in fourth.

The Wolves also took the top five spots in the 100-yard breaststroke against Laramie. Brendan Bloomquist led the way with a qualifying time of 1:04.52. Logan Johnson finished second, Miles Moffat was third and Coleton Spalding and Nick Boldt rounded out the top five. In Cheyenne, Ethan Moffat took the top spot in the 100 breaststroke with Logan Johnson coming in second for the second-straight day.

After finishing third and fourth in Laramie, Miles Moffat and Coleton Spalding finished first and second in Cheyenne in diving.
