SWEETWATER COUNTY—The first WyoPreps Wyoming High School Boys Basketball rankings of 2018 are in, and Green River High School is ranked No. 4 in the 4A class.
According to WyoPreps, this is the first time that a Green River boys basketball team has been ranked in the top five for several years. The last time Green River was in the top five was sometime before the 2010-11 season.
The Wolves currently have an 8-1 overall record for the season. Last week, the Wolves beat Laramie at the Cheyenne Invitational 61-59, in which Laramie was the No. 1 ranked team at the time.
The only loss on Green River’s record at this point in the season is a 65-64 loss against Sheridan last weekend at the Cheyenne Invitational.
