Kolbi Schanzenbach was nominated as a Wolf of the Week by Mrs. Carina Stulken. Mrs. Stulken said, “Kolbi is a second-year member of the speech and debate team competing in congress. She is consistently in final rounds of congress and often places in the top six at a tournament. She has become a leader of our congress members helping students hone their skills. Kolbi also stepped up at the last minute this weekend when one of our JV cross-examination debaters was unable to attend the tournament. With almost no notice she replaced that person in CX so his partner could attend the tournament and debate. Kolbi deserves the nomination of Wolf of the Week.”

Rachel Heisinger was nominated as a Wolf of the Week by Mr. Dan Parson. Mr. Parson said, “Rachel is one of the most dedicated students on the GRHS speech and debate team. She has a deep love for the art of debate and spends long hours researching and expanding her knowledge base. She conducts herself with integrity and sportsmanship, both in and out of competition. Recently, Rachel made it to varsity level final rounds at the Evanston tournament. All this is evidence for the fact that Rachel is, without a doubt, a rising star on the state debate circuit. We are very proud of her!”
