GREEN RIVER — The Green River City Council will consider granting permission for the Green River Police Department (GRPD) to submit a State Farm Good Neighbor Citizenship Company Grant application, which if awarded will be used to purchase driving simulators.
The Green River City Council will meet Tuesday, October 20, at 7 pm at Green River City Hall.
The driving simulators will have the ability to simulate various driving conditions and safety concerns including impaired and distracted driving.
GRPD would use the simulators in the community’s high schools and other community locations to support teen driving safety programs.
The application will close on October 31, 2020.
