The Golden Hour Senior Center in Green River is looking for community members willing to give just a little of their time to help local homebound seniors.
The center is currently seeking individuals who can volunteer an hour or so, one day a week, to deliver meals to seniors throughout Green River who are unable to leave their homes.
For many homebound seniors, meal delivery provides more than just a nutritious meal. It also provides a friendly face and an important connection to the community.
Volunteering requires only a small weekly time commitment and is a simple way to make a meaningful difference for seniors right here in Green River.
Those interested in helping can stop by the Golden Hour Senior Center at 550 Uinta Drive Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.
