Welcome to #HOMETOWNHUSTLE – a SweetwaterNOW exclusive series where we highlight hardworking individuals at local businesses in our community.
This week, I had the chance to catch up with Sheila Guenther. Sheila is the owner and operator of the long standing business, Sheila’s Detailing.
For 15 years, Sheila has been offering full interior and exterior detailing of cars, trucks, SUVs, semis, and campers. During her time in business, Sheila has created quite the reputation of making your vehicle of choice look brand new.
When Sheila opened up her business in May of 2005, she had a couple of goals in mind; create a better life for her and her three sons and do something she loved. Her passion for vehicles led to the inception of Sheila’s Detailing.
With hard work and dedication, Sheila has achieved her goals and continues to provide an unbelievable service to Sweetwater County.
SHEILA’S DETAILING IN 3 WORDS
Honest, Trustworthy, and Dedicated.
The #HometownHustle series is made possible by:
As there is with any business, Sheila has encountered some challenges along the way. We all know Wyoming winters can be brutal, in more ways than one. It’s also one of the toughest times of the year for Sheila’s Detailing because business seems to slow down quite a bit. But like a true entrepreneur, each year, Sheila pushes through and finds ways to drum up new business.
I asked Sheila what she feels is the most important quality for a business owner to have and her answer didn’t surprise me a bit.
You have to have the drive to succeed.
-Sheila Guenther
Detailing a vehicle may seem like a chore to most, but Shelia enjoys what she does, and for her, seeing her customer’s reactions when they see their spotless vehicle. Her goal has always been to provide the best service possible and judging by some customer reviews, that’s exactly what she does.
Just had my Cavalier done before I sell it and I can honestly say my car has NEVER been this clean!!! Thank you so much!!! I’ll be coming back with my new car!

Sheila did an absolutely fantastic job on my husband’s work truck! Looks new again! Would definitely recommend her and we will be using her again. Very reasonably priced. Thank you, Sheila!

I had my husband’s truck detailed for Father’s Day and Sheila did an AMAZING job! The white pet hair on the black carpet was a constant battle and she was able to get it all! Looks like a new truck! Thanks Sheila!

Sheila also loves a challenge, as you can tell from the photos above. Being a business owner comes with many layers of responsibility, and one of the things Sheila enjoys most about owning her own business is the many opportunities for personal growth and professional development.
Throughout the past 15 years, Sheila has enjoyed being able to create relationships within the community.
“People in this town are so loyal and kind. If you treat them well and do a great job for them they will become lifelong customers.”
Sheila does have a few simple, yet wise words of advice she’s like to share with aspiring business owners/managers. “Strive to be the best.”
Sheila knows that the success of her business wouldn’t be possible without the people of Sweetwater County and she’d like to extend a thank you to all who have supported her through this journey.
“Thank you to all of my customers. I want you to know I appreciate your business, your loyalty, and your friendship. Most of all I appreciate that you have chosen me.”
