Honduras Man Arrested in Rock Springs Sentenced For Illegal Re-entry of a Previously Deported Alien

 

CHEYENNE – A Honduras man recently arrested in Rock Springs for illegal re-entry of a previously departed alien into the United States was sentenced in federal court.

Victor Vidal Rodriguez-Erazo, 38,  was sentenced by Chief Federal District Court Judge Nancy D. Freudenthal on November 10, 2015, for illegal re-entry of a previously deported alien into the United States. Rodriguez-Erazo was arrested in Rock Springs.

He received 57 months imprisonment, was ordered to pay a $100 special assessment and is subject to deportation upon release from custody.

This case was investigated by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

 

Other Sentencing 

John Goodman, 21, of Ethete, was sentenced by Federal District Court Judge Scott W. Skavdahl on November 10, 2015, for assault with a dangerous weapon with intent to cause bodily harm. Goodman was arrested in Riverton. He received 45 months imprisonment, to be followed by three years of supervised release and was ordered to pay a $100 special assessment. Restitution in this case will be determined at a later time. This case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
