ROCK SPRINGS – The United Way of Southwest Wyoming and Hospice of Sweetwater County presented at Simplot on Wednesday.
The United Way said Hospice received their first United Way grant in 1983 which helped them open their doors. During the presentation Hospice said their youngest client was four-days-old while their oldest is over 100-years-old. Hospice reported they also offer grief counseling.
Hospice’s candlelight remembrance service is on Nov. 16th at 4 p.m. at the SCM Parish Center Lounge. “A RAY OF HOPE: Facing the Holidays Following a Loss” by Paul Alexander, nationally known Bereavement Specialist, will precede the services at 3 p.m. Refreshments will also be served after the service.
Their Tree of Love begins Nov. 22. Rose ornaments will be available with trees on display at A Touch of Class and Harts & Flowers.
