ROCK SPRINGS – Judy Lynn Blount, 46, of Rock Springs, Wyoming passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2013 at her home. She was a resident of Rock Springs, Wyoming for the past eight years and former resident of De Soto, Missouri.
She was born on January 18, 1966 in Pocahontas, Arkansas, the daughter of William and Goldie Blount.
Ms. Blount attended schools in Pocahontas, Arkansas.
Her interests were painting and spending time with her family.
Survivors include one son Donny Ray Blount of Rock Springs, Wyoming; four brothers William Searcy, Orvel Lee Blount and Billy Dean Blount all of Rock Springs, Wyoming and Donald Eugene Blount of Texas; three sisters Grace May Searcy and Shirley Ann Schutte both of Missouri and Barbara Fay Townsend of California.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother Donny Thurman; Step-father Rickey Dale Holensworth and brother-in-law Raymond Lee Schutte.
Following cremation, memorial services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Monday, October 21, 2013 at the Vase Funeral Chapel, 154 Elk Street, Rock Springs, Wyoming. Pastor Michael Longfellow of the Rock Springs Christian Church will conduct the services. Friends may call one hour prior to services.
