Lady Pronghorn Kenzi Reed Named 1A Southwest Player of the Year

FARSON-EDEN – Several Lady Pronghorns were honored for their work on the basketball court after finishing third in 1A at state this season.

After a tough loss to St. Stephens in the semifinals, the ladies of Farson-Eden took home third in an exciting game against Little Snake River. Alexis Lehmann and Kenzi Reed both scored 17 in the 51-50 win.

For their work in Casper, Reed and Carly Griffin both received All-State honors. Several Lady Pronghorns also received All-Conference Honors led by Reed who was named 1A Southwest Player of the Year. Griffin, Lehmann and Maizee Thoren all received All-Conference honors in the Southwest Division.

2A All-Conference

Although they did not make it to state, several players from Kemmerer and Big Piney received All-Conference Honors. Big Piney had three girls honored: Ady Applin, Rachel Forrester and Grace Tanner. Kemmerer had two girls walk away with All-Conference honors: Taylor Brunski and Madison Vilos.
