Saturday is an important match against the Lady Red Devils of Evanston. Green River is currently one game behind Evanston for the third spot in the conference. Evanston holds a win over Green River sweeping the Lady Wolves in three in the first match.

The ladies of Green River are coming off two losses against the two top conference teams, Kelly Walsh and Natrona. Against the Lady Trojans, Green River fell in three, 25-16, 25-18, 25-22. Kelly Walsh is currently ranked first in the conference with an undefeated record.

Against fourth-ranked Natrona, the Lady Wolves had opportunities to pull the upset but came up a little short. It looked good early as the Lady Wolves took the first two sets. Both sets went to extra points with Green River coming out in front in both, 32-30 and 27-25.

From there it was all Natrona. Instead of falling apart in the third, the Fillies fired back with a 25-11 win and evened up the match in the fourth with a 25-18 win. In the deciding set, Natrona pulled away for the 15-9 win.
