GREEN RIVER – The ladies of Green River opened the season strong with a dual win over Jackson, 103-80. Several Lady Wolves have already punched their ticket to state.

Sydni Sanders and Avery Otto set the pace early for the Lady Wolves. Sanders qualified for state in several events. In the 200 Free, Sanders swam a 2:09.88 to take the event and qualify for state. She also punched her ticket to in the 500 Free, swimming a 5:51.23 to win her second event of the day.

Avery Otto also added two state qualifying times and two wins. Otto was able to get a little space in the 50 Free with a 25.99 to take her first win. Her second came in the 100 Fly. She touched the wall in 1:02.12 to add another state event and take the win.

Ashley Jensen took the win in the 200 IM and her time of 2:36.02 put her in the post-season tournament. Jensen also battled in the 100 Fly and although she finished behind her teammate Otto, she added her second state event with a time of 1:08.03.

The final state qualifier for Green River also brought home two event wins. Alexis King won the 100 Free with a time of 58.04 and made it two in the 100 Back with a 1:05.07.
